I'm having trouble logging in. Help!

Are you having trouble logging in?  That must be frustrating.  Fortunately, we're here to help.

Log in issues fall into one of two categories:  Username issues and password issues.  

Let's start with username issues.  Either you don't remember your user name, or you're 100% sure that you're using the right user name and password, but the system insists that you don't exist.  In either case, you have two options: (1) Email us for help/support (info at this website's URL), or (2) create a new user.  I recommend contacting us first. If you've simply forgotten your username, odds are good we'll be able to track it down for you.  If your account has been deleted, we'll be able to confirm that for you.  (On that note: There was a little burst of spam account creators a while back, and I deleted a bunch of accounts that looked "fake."  If I deleted your account in that purge, I sincerely apologize.)

Password issues: In the right-hand column, under the User Login section, there's a "Request new password" link.  As long as you know your username/email address, you can ask the system to reset your password.  Very simple and easy.  If that's not working for some strange reason, email us for help/support (info at this website's URL).
