Congratulations! You've collected your Income!

Hi Royce,

We're using Drupal as the CMS for inevitablethegame.com.  There's a Drupal module that lets you give and take "points" from users for certain actions.  I installed and enabled this module to emulate the role of money and Income in Inevitable.

Right now, HappyDollars don't do much.  However, I'm working on ways to:

  • Create store items that can only be purchased with HappyDollars.
  • Use HappyDollars to purchase store items with a discount. (I might not implement this.  It depends...)
  • Use HappyDollars to buy items from a "catalog," like Rocket Rollerskates or a Box of Dead Raccoons, that you can "send" to other users on the site
  • Use HappyDollars to purchase "roles" and "titles" to get special access and privileges on inevitablethegame.com.  (I hope to eventually implement the different groups, like The Church and The Mental Patients – each with special things that the other groups can't do.)
  • Retroactively apply HappyDollars to all users.

Right now, you get 360 HappyDollars for signing up (You start Inevitable with $360 + your Income) and you get $120 or $130 the first time you log in each day (You get your Income once each turn, if you ask for it.).  You also get HappyDollars for inviting people who actually sign up and stick around. (How many?  I'm not telling.)

Thanks for asking!  We'll see how it goes...
