Hi guys,

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this.

I have backed your project through Kickstarter (my username is Nissanthen), I have pledged $75.00 and I chose the following reward:

The button set, PLUS the download link to the Complete Version PDFs, PLUS the Deluxe Version--a physical copy of all game components shipped to you on the day of release. Your name will be listed in the credits and the website in a list of "Producers."

When can I expect to receive the button set and the physical edition of the game?

I can provide all the transaction information if you want me to.

Have a nice day.

Kind regards,

Nissanthen Thiruravichandran

Shipped on December 4, 2010

Hello Nissanthen,

Thanks for asking about the status of your Inevitable set and other assorted goodies.  We shipped your package out on December 4, 2010.  Yes, that's quite a bit later than when the Kickstarter project ended; we're a very small operation, and we had a lot of game sets to hand-collate (To get an idea of what it was like, you can see photos of all the components when they arrived at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/53456450@N04/sets/72157625074823629/ ), so it took a little while for Jeremy to fulfill all the Kickstarter sets.

Since you're in the United Kingdom, it's going to take a bit longer for your package to get to you than it would if you were in the United States.  As of today (the 15th of December), your package has been in transit for 11 days.  How much longer will it take to arrive?  I sincerely don't know, since this is the first time I've ever shipped a package overseas, and it's the holiday shipping season.  I hope (and I'm sure you also hope) it arrives soon, because I think you'll enjoy it.  If it hasn't arrived by the 25th (21 days in transit), please email us at info@inevitablethegame.com and let us know.

Thanks again for taking the time to follow up with us!

Best regards,

Jonathan Leistiko

Hi Jonathan, Thank you so

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you so much for your quick response. I was just worried if the package was lost in transit, but I am so relieved to hear that the game is on its way! I can't wait to play this with my wife and friends! I know it is going to be awesome!

Yeah I saw the pictures in the Kickstarter updates, it must have been hectic, I am sorry I didn't mean to rush you.

I will keep you updated!

Thank you so much.

Kind regards,

You don't need to apologize.  You did a fantastic thing and backed our Kickstarter project.  We're truly grateful for your generosity.  We sincerely appreciate that you took the time to ask us what's going on.

Regarding playing with your wife and friends: I hope you're all very, very good friends.  Inevitable can be very cut-throat, if you choose to play that way.  I hope you have a chance to write up a little report on how it goes, or perhaps even take a few pictures.  I'd really like to know how it turns out!

Best regards,

Jonathan Leistiko

Hi Jonathan, I am sorry

Hi Jonathan,

I am sorry for my late reply, I just want to let you know that I received the game last Saturday! My wife (who played as The Mafia), my sister in law (The Famous International Playboys) and I (The Ninjas) played the game Saturday night and we had a blast! After getting familiar with the rules, we played for 3 hours straight (without actually finishing the game). My sister in law and I adopted a more diplomatic play style while I discovered a new ruthless side of my wife.

We have only positive things to say about the game, it is easily the most enjoyable board game we have ever played. We loved the setting, the depth of it and the fact that it could accommodate different play styles. We are going to play it again tomorrow night after the Christmas feast! We will try to take some pictures.

I am so happy that I could contribute to your Kickstarter project. Thank you for the game.

Kind regards,

I'm glad you had so much fun!

Hello Nissanthen,

I'm very glad to know that your copy of Inevitable arrived safely, and well before the 25th.  I'm also very glad that the three of you enjoyed the game so much!  Your compliments are very flattering and generous.

I'm not surprised to hear that The Mafia brought out a heretofore unknown ruthlessness in your wife; you really have to play The Mafia that way if you want to do well with them.  The Ninjas and The Famous International Playboys don't require nearly as much aggression (although they can be brutal if you choose to play them that way – The FIPs have considerable purchasing power, and The Ninjas are very powerful in combat.).

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas feast, and that your second game is as much fun as the first one.

(If it looks like you won't finish the game, focus on increasing your statistics and use die modifiers (like Rocker Roller Skates or Lucky Rabbit's Feet) to channel you into the center and to a Take Two Cards... square.  This might seem like obvious advice, but it's easy to get distracted by other things in the game.  Alternately, if everyone agrees, set a time limit and hold an instand run-off election when that time limit is reached.)

Thank you,

Jonathan (and the Inevitable team)
